Abstract
- A study was conducted of electroluminescence from a new class of conjugated polymers based on poly(bithiazole)'s. The emission spectra of these polymers range from blue-green to red. These polymers also exhibit high thermal and oxidative stabilities. The findings indicate that the light-emitting diode (LED) characteristics change and bubble formation was due to the adhesion loss at the top contact/polymer interface. Furthermore, the roughness of back contact and uniformity of polymer active layer were essential to LED electrical stability.
