Abstract
- Resonance Raman spectroscopy of the the oxidized and semiquinone forms of flavocytochrome b2 and L-Lactate monooxygenase was utilized to describe the structural and environmental differences of the flavin ring. Data indicated that the differences have originated from slight differences in the flavin monooxygenase (FMN) orientations in the structure. Furthermore, it was indicated that the two flavoproteins differ in the N1/N5-protein interactions.
