Abstract
- Remmele Engineering successfully utilized high speed machining processes for developing various types of components for aerospace applications. The firm is known for using a high cutting speed bar and high velocity machining (HVM) techniques. HVM is effective in replacing processes such as moulding and casting. In addition, Remmele has been able to satisfy industry requirements regarding thin walled sections.<br />For the right application, such as aerospace and other aluminum parts, high speed machining offers tremendous benefits, many of which are found beyond the cutting zone.
