Abstract

Extranets can provide market advantages to organizations by providing them with a fast means of communicating with customers, suppliers, and partners. The system enables firms to serve customers better since feedback from users about products can instantly be accessed by engineers, hastening product development. Customary issues such as security remain a legitimate concern for firms but can be addressed by multilevel approaches that include firewalls, passwords protection, and encryption codes that would prevent intruders from accessing or transmitting classified information.
