Abstract
- There is a need to model and measure the cumulative effects of discrimination to provide a better way to see its impact and to see the extent to which it remains a salient social problem. One study finds that the sons of low-income black fathers are 63 percent likely to remain in the bottom quartile as compared to 32 percent for sons of low-income white fathers.
