Abstract

The patterning of a polyoxometalate (POM) clusters onto self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) is demonstrated via a simple, fast microcontact printing technique. The attachment of the cells on patterned SAMs is previously observed after the substrates are precoated with fibronectin and adhesion peptides and no adhesive proteins are used and yet the cells have responded strongly to the patterned areas
