Goodwill disclosures found wanting

Abstract

An Intangible Business report reveals that 53% of goodwill in 500 businesses outside of the US and UK was not described in 2007. Results showed that less than a third of the goodwill value was disclosed with a good description. How companies adhere to International Financial Reporting Standard 3 is investigated further.
