A question of epistemology: reflections on the Harman-Laszlo dialogue

Many non-materialistic human nature conceptions draw more enquiry than traditional reductionistic models. Aside from being broader in scope, they also create a scientific intellectual climate that has become more conducive to nonreductionistic enquiry. While epistemology can influence scientific content and direction, ontological construction can create basic ideas that may lead to entire research lines.
