Tributylphosphine-catalyzed cycloaddition of aziridines with carbon disulfide and isothiocyanate

Aziridines have undergone cyclization reaction with carbon disulfide and isothiocyanate in the presence of organophosphine to produce thiazolidinone derivatives in good yield. The mechanistic study has shown that organophosphine has served as a catalyst in the reaction.
