The Keystone State: Pennsylvania's new arenas lead the way

Abstract
- Pennsylvania's newest arenas are the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park and CoreStates Center in Philadelphia. The Bryce center, which opened in January 1996 and cost $55 million, already has been paid off with state and private financing. CoreStates Center, which opened in August 1996 and cost $210 million, is the home of three pro sports teams. The Pittsburgh Civic Arena, three facilities in Erie, Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Hersheypark Arena and other arenas are discussed.<br />Business is brisk for most facilities across the Keystone State.
