Ring-opening reactions of difluoro(methylene)cyclopropanes with halogens and amines

A study is conducted to gain insight into the ring-opening reaction mechanism of the distal and proximal bond of difluoro(methylene)cyclopropanes ([F.sub.2]MCPs) with halogens and amines. The simple ring-opening reaction of ([F.sub.2]MCPs) could be applied to obtain a number of fluorine-containing compounds.
