Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the aspects which cancer specialists in Australia perceived as difficult in consulting and communicating with patients suffering from cancer and their families. Results indicated that doctors usually found the most difficult task to be explaining the high cost of medicines and treatment failure to patients and families.
