Abstract: The article discusses the guidelines laid down by the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand with regard to the use of home oxygen therapy as a form of treatment for infants with chronic neonatal lung disease (CNLD). The long term outcome of oxygen supplementation strategies for infants is also highlighted.
