Pakistan: agricultural machinery/equipment

It is predicted that the annual market for tractors in Pakistan will rise from 22,000 to 25,000 tractors from 1995 to 1998. The substantial increase in demand for tractors is due to the growing agricultural consumption requirements. The government urges increased production through cultivation of Pakistan's total arable land of 79 mil acres, of which only 50 mil acres is under cultivation.
