Abstract
- The design and properties of an evanescent coupling method developed by using a semiconductor antiresonant reflecting optical waveguide and a side-polished fiber is discussed. The newly developed side-coupled fiber semiconductor laser could be applied to design and fabricate hybrid fiber-semiconductor devices.
