Abstract

A study is conducted to determine if binding of the intrinsically disordered T cell receptor (TCR) cytoplasmic tail to the well-folded simian immunodeficiency virus Nef core domain is accompanied by a disorder-to-order transition. The 1:1 complex formed by TCR with Nef that remains unfolded in the complex has suggested existence of specific interactions for unfolded protein molecules.
