Abstract
- Choosing Christmas fare such as wine and pudding can often be complicated, with many different products available. Some wines which are popular for drinking on their own can be unsuitable for drinking with food, while some can be suitable for both. The best wine in a recent tasting was Hardy's Bankside Shiraz 1993 red wine, followed by Rothbury Estate Chardonnay 1995 white wine. The best Christmas pudding was Tesco Connoisseur Selection with Cognac and Rum, while the best corkscrew was the Brabantia.
