Abstract
- A recursive least squares algorithm based on inverse triangular updating shows a hardware implementation on a generic systolic array. This algorithm is useful in applications such as singular value decompositions (SVD) updating and Kalman filtering. The method allows the incorporation of alternative data weighting strategies such as directional weighting without affecting the speed of the process.
