Abstract

Conventional approaches to teaching the Korean language to foreign students have proven inefficient. There is a need to adopt a more cognitive approach to teaching the Korean language to enhance students' learning. A new classroom syllabus for teaching the Korean language was developed. Comparisons between the new syllabus and conventional teaching approaches revealed that the former is a more effective approach.
