PACman: NFIB triples lobby funds

Abstract: The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) plans to increase funding to its political action committee (PAC) by three-fold during the 1995-96 election cycle. Dubbed Save America's Free Enterprise Trust, the PAC will donate over $1 million to federal campaigns, mostly for Republican Party candidates. NFIB national political Dir. Jeff Butzke hopes the increased funding will help bolster the association's political influence.
