Abstract

The article talks about the ultrasonic shear reflectance method, which employs the complex reflection coefficient at a solid-liquid interface for measuring the viscosity of the Newtonian liquids. The approach is shown to prove the existence of a Newtonian behavior in the less viscous liquids and a non-Newtonian behavior in the more viscous liquids.
