Abstract

A doctor who was near retirement decided to get a sheep as part of his plan to lead a rural life when he finally closed his Los Angeles practice. He got a sheep that was too large and was unfriendly, so he intended to return it to the seller the next day. Unfortunately, the sheep was attacked by dogs that night and had to be taken to a veterinarian. It soon died and the doctor had to go through all the trouble of getting rid of the body. He ended up spending $336 for the sheep and the veterinarian's services without realizing his dream of spending his retirement years with 'cute, docile sheep.&apos<br />Wouldn't a docile sheep safely grazing on a farm make a pretty picture?
