Abstract

The thermal cycling properties of critical and return current in [Bi.sub.2][Sr.sub.2]Ca[Cu.sub.2][O.sub.x] (Bi-2212) stacks are examined. The studies have shown that the Bi-2212 stacks fabricated by the self-planarizing process have enough stability for thermal cycling.
