Abstract
- Learning professional responsibility while neglecting personal responsibility does no good and too many legal ethics courses neglect the latter. Legal ethics courses do not encourage debate about morality in legal practice, and so are treated often as review courses for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. This approach trivializes ethics and the real-world context is needed in courses.
