Abstract

The use of antenna passive repeaters to improve field coverage and indoor recovery of microwave cellular signals is studied. The use of an on-wall passive repeater improves indoor signal coverage, while signal level for fixed-terminal systems can be increased by using more directive repeater antennas or antenna arrays.
