Abstract

Commercial poultry are vulnerable to heat stress because their heat dissipation capacity remains more or less constant, regardless of their growth rate. The appropriate combination of nutritional and management therapies can help to maintain optimal production even in a high temperature environment. A brief overview of the different nutritional and management options available to the producer is presented.
