Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Telmisartan as a form of treatment to prevent recurrent stroke and cardiovascular events. Results indicated that telmisartan therapy was not very effective in significantly reducing the rate of recurrent stroke, major cardiovascular events or diabetes.
