Abstract
- The Eshelby-Stroh formalism for anisotropic elasticity is applied to evaluate stress singularities at grain triple junctions. The analysis defined different asymmetric grain boundary configurations and random orientations for both cubic and orthotropic grains. Both grain types showed super singularities for two-dimensional polycrystals in the fully symmetric case.
