Comparison of quantitative conformer analyses by nuclear magnetic resonance and Raman optical activity spectra for model dipeptides

The interpretation of Raman optical activity (ROA) of peptides is difficult due to molecular flexibility and interaction with the solvent and hence the simulations and the experiments are compared with the NMR couplings. The results are supported by molecular dynamics simulations and are related to the conformational studies of the similar molecules.
