Abstract

About a dozen lenders, concerned about the increase in consumer bankruptcies, have formed Bankruptcy Prevention and Counseling, a coalition meant to help them collectively address bankruptcy issues. The coalition, whose members include NationsBank Corp, MBNA Corp and Citicorp, will concern itself primarily with credit card debt.
