Independents and integrateds are NOT adversaries

Inland Container Chmn. and CEO William B. Howes was the keynote speaker during the Mar. 1996 meeting of the Assn. of Independent Corrugated Converters. He believes that partnership between independents and integrateds is the key to fulfilling customer demands. He also cites four events affecting the future of the industry which are the fall of the Berlin Wall, the 1962 opening of Wal-Mart, Earth Day and sale of Scott Paper.
