Abstract

Novel electromagnetic functional and cage-like polyaniline (PANI) composite micro/nanostructures containing ferromagnetic and octahedral Co[Fe.sub.2][O.sub.4] crystal are prepared by using Fe[Cl.sub.3] as both oxidant and dopant via a self-assembly process. The cage-like composite nanostructures have high conductivity and have also shown a typical ferromagnetic behavior.
