Abstract
- Dynamic geometric constructions using 'The Geometer's Sketchpad,' allow students to generalize theorems and transform the static images into moving, deformable forms. The study of the movement of constant-area rectangles involves the use of chord-theorem and geometric-mean construction. The dynamics of a constant-perimeter rectangle are discussed.
