Abstract

The hospitality industry has resuscitated public interest in hotel dining by entering into partnerships with restaurateurs. This type of business relationship, which is slowly gaining popularity, often increases incremental revenue and helps build brand identity. Such partnerships are characterized by joint ventures through management/ownership agreements, licensing contracts and leasing deals. The key to the success of a hotel/restaurant partnership lies in a shared customer-service philosophy.
