Phonon strain shift coefficients in [Si.sub.1-x][Ge.sub.x] alloys

Abstract: Several high-resolution Raman measurements are conducted to determine the photon strain shift coefficients found in the [Si.sub.1-x][Ge.sub.x] alloys. The results demonstrate that the discussed strain shift coefficients are completely independent of the composition of the heterostructures.
