Abstract
- The electrical, mechanical and thermal properties of Bi-2223/AgAu tapes and stacks manufactured by EHTS and Sumitomo are characterized. The mechanically unstabilized tapes have reached higher critical currents but lower mechanical limits and the tapes from both suppliers have exceeded the specified critical current.
