Abstract

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) will begin its reign at Fort Meade, MD, with a new approach toward photojournalism education. The military school, which left Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, IN, because of the fort's closure, is integrating electronic and digital imaging techniques in its photojournalism curriculum. DINFOS instructors were skeptic at first but later realized that they need to step up their training to keep in line with the advances in computer technology. The course is open to students from all services, government civilians and international students.
