Simulations for elementary and primary school social studies: an annotated bibliography

This article updates a 1980 annotation of simulations appropriate for use in elementary or primary school social studies. It briefly describes close to 200 activities, and it provides bibliographic information so users can readily locate each simulation's source. In order to accommodate a typical classroom, the list identifies simulations that can be played with large groups. It does not include electronic simulations, board games, quiz competitions, or unstructured role-play.
