Abstract
- Equations of state and equations for activity coefficients were used to analyze the thermodynamic properties of aqueous species of the Al2O3-H2O-NaCl system at high temperatures and pressures. The solubility data between 40 and 350 degrees celsius produces the dissociation constant of NaAl(OH)(super 0)(sub 4). Further solubility measurements will better constrain the relative stabilities to reduce the discrepancies in the observations at temperatures above 200 degree celsius.
