NASA is planning to launch its first new mission to the moon to investigate likely spots to land and create a habitat where astronauts can stay for longer periods. According to them lunar habitat for the scientists is a field laboratory where they can test new technologies, investigate ways to mine the surface and figure out how to keep humans alive in harsh environment.
