Abstract

The prevalence of antimicrobial-resistance (AR) Escherichia coli isolates were examined from human wastewater and swine fecal samples from group-level cohorts of humans and swine. Findings reveal that swine were at a higher risk of carrying multidrug-resistant strains than humans.
