Abstract
- Founder of the Basic Skills Agency (BSA), Alan Wells believes that teachers need to pay more attention to students' communication skills. The BSA envisages upgrading school curricula with emphasis placed on the study and teaching of communication skills. Vocational training programs can help by promoting students' mastery over inter-communication skills as most jobs require personnel with sound communication skills.
