Abstract
- Multiple chemokines are involved in the acceptance of leukocytes into the glomerulus in anti-glomerular basement membrane (GMB) Ab glomerulonephritis. It is also found that many C-X-C and C-C chemokines are produced within the glomerulus in response to immune-mediated injury. Furthermore, chemokines such as PF4 (40) and the chemoattractant (CINC) equivalent IL-8 enhance polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN) adhesion to the endothelium.
