Diffusion of measurement invariance assessment in cross-national empirical marketing research: perspectives from the literature and a survey of researchers

Abstract
- 243 cross-national empirical articles published in well-respected marketing journals from 2000 to 2005 were analyzed and it is found that there is a growth of published research but only 28 percent of the studies undertook measurement invariance (MI). The low utilization of MI is attributed to low knowledge of MI.
