Abstract
- A study to examine whether the mutated gene ABCA1 was responsible for the increased risk of ischemic heart disease (IHD) and enhanced levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol levels is conducted. Results reveal that the mutated gene did not have any effect of increased risk of IHD and HDL.
