Abstract
- A clinical isolate of Francisella tularensis subspecies holarctica, a potential biological weapon is analyzed to evaluate the efficiency of genome analysis in an emergency context by avoiding time consuming processes. It is observed that analysis allows the rapid detection of strain manipulation, including intentionally added virulence genes and genes that support antibiotic resistance.
