CIOs ring in HIMSS with CHIME(Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's annual education conference, College of Healthcare Information Management Executives)

Abstract: The annual education conference of the American Hospital Assn's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society will be held in Atlanta, GA in Mar 1996. More than 12,000 healthcare information managers are expected to be in attendance. The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) will hold its own chief information officer (CIO) forum just before the conference. CHIME focuses more on the overall impact of information technology rather than on technical issues, which is the focus of CIOs.
