- Panelists at the Canadian Assn of Fairs and Exhibitions convention urged fair managers and planners to adapt if they wish to survive changing markets. Norman Stowe of The Pace Group of Vancouver told those attending the 69th annual convention that fairs must make customers feel special, because fairs are competing with Disney World and television for patrons' entertainment money.
