Abstract

The Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition that was used to investigate sex differences in cognitive abilities of children and adolescents is discussed. Results showed that girls scored higher on the latent, higher-order g factor at all ages and boys had a higher mean advantage on the latent visual-spatial ability factor.
