Fabrication and optical properties of Pb([Mg.sub.1/3][Nb.sub.2/3])[O.sub.3]-PbTi[O.sub.3] thin films on Si substrates using the PLD method

Abstract
- Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method was used for the preparation of epitaxially grown Pb ([Mg.sub.1/3][Nb.sub.2/3])[O.sub.3]-PbTi[O.sub.3] (PMN-PT) thin films on appropriate buffer layers deposited on a Si substrate. Findings reveal high crystallinity of PMN-PT film with full width at half maximum = 0.73 deg and 1.6 m thickness.
